At Purrfect Fence, we believe that every pet deserves a safe and enriching outdoor life. 

We design our enclosures with a focus on you and your pet, using only high-quality components and materials that align with our values for safe outdoor access. That’s why, if your cat should escape from a PURRFECT FENCE™-enclosed space, we’ve got you covered with the Escape-Free Guarantee™ 60-Day Limited Warranty (“Escape-Free Guarantee”).

Why 60 Days?

We have found in the limited number of scenarios we have seen that the cats who really intend to “test” the system will do so near immediately, and the successful ones are quite persistent in doing so! Given that is the case, if your cat is testing and beating the system, we want to address it as soon as possible. In the event you do have a cat who is in the fractional minority that can truly beat the fence when properly installed, we will accept the used product back and donate or offer enormous discounts on the used product to our cat shelter and pet rescue partners where it will do the most good. Receiving the product back within a few months ensures it is in practically new condition and can easily be accepted and installed by the rescues and non-profits.

What important things should I know?

  • - THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS, WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
  • -This Limited Warranty gives you rights in addition to any other product warranty you were provided with your PURRFECT FENCE™ product purchase.
  • -Our responsibility is limited to working with you to ensure proper design, supply and installation of your PURRFECT FENCE™ fencing system, or your money back.

Who is covered by this Escape-Free Guarantee?

The Escape-Free Guarantee is personal to the consumer that originally purchased the product. It cannot be transferred to anyone else and is only applicable at such consumer’s original installation location within the United States or Canada. 

What is the period of coverage?

The Escape-Free Guarantee begins on the date that you purchased your product and continues as long as the original purchaser owns the product at its initial installation location, except as provided below for the 60-day money back guarantee. We may change the availability of this Escape-Free Guarantee at our discretion, but any changes will not be retroactive.

What does the Escape-Free Guarantee cover?

  1. Troubleshooting:If your pet should ever escape, our service team will work with you promptly to make sure the fence was installed correctly, that you purchased the proper materials for your installation location, and to determine the root cause of the escape, to resolve the issue. This includes, without limitation:

    1. Reviewing the factual circumstances of the escape;
    2. Collecting photos and/or videos to review the setup and installation of the fence; and

    3. Checking for barriers and escape hazards that may be on or near the fence line. This could be something simple like a garbage bin to which a cat is gaining access before jumping over the fence. 

If there are any installation errors, barriers or escape hazards, Purrfect Fence will clearly explain how you should fix them to make sure the fence is escape-proof and secure. To take advantage of this Escape-Free Guarantee, you must work with our team to correct any issues based on our recommendations.  Aside from consulting with you remotely, Purrfect Fence will not provide or pay for labor or materials to correct any installation errors. If insufficient fencing materials were originally purchased, you will have to purchase additional materials to maintain this Escape-Free Guarantee in effect. Failure to follow our recommendations will also void the money back guarantee and you will not be entitled to a refund of any portion of your purchase price under this Escape-Free Guarantee.

2.    Money Back Guarantee: If after working with our team to implement a remedial plan, and receiving Purrfect Fence’s approval of the steps you have taken to ensure that your fence was installed properly, your cat again escapes, Purrfect Fence will collect proof of the escape and provide its money back guarantee on the materials you purchased from Purrfect Fence. You must follow our money back guarantee process to obtain your refund, which is further explained in section 3 below. WHILE CUSTOMERS WILL HAVE ACCESS TO OUR SUPPORT AND FENCE PLANNING TEAM THROUGHOUT THE LIFECYCLE OF THEIR PRODUCT ACCORDING TO THE TERMS OF THIS ESCAPE-FREE GUARANTEE™, THE MONEY BACK OPTION ON THE ESCAPE-FREE GUARANTEE™ IS GOOD FOR ONLY 60-DAYS AFTER PURCHASING THE PRODUCT.

3.    Money Back Guarantee Process: To obtain a refund, you first must receive an “RMA (return materials authorization) number” from the Purrfect Fence customer support team. You must then repackage and return all unused parts, and all used fence posts, ground sleeves, metal fittings, cat arms, and other Purrfect Fence products provided with your purchase. All returned parts must be received by Purrfect Fence undamaged and in new condition, ordinary wear and tear excepted. Unused poly fencing and unused welded wire must be returned, but please do not return any used poly fencing or welded wire. You are responsible for paying for any packaging and return shipping costs you incur. Purrfect Fence customer support may be able to provide prepaid discounted shipping labels – the cost of which will be deducted from the refund - if you are able to provide necessary details regarding the weight and dimensions of each returned package. Once all required items are received back and verified, Purrfect Fence will refund 100% of the purchase price of the fence purchased, including any additional materials that may have been purchased from us as part of the remedial plan and returned. What isn't covered by the Escape-Free Guarantee™?

The following are not covered by the Escape-Free Guarantee:

  • - Conditions covered by, or excluded from coverage, under another applicable warranty;
  • -Damage and escapes caused or facilitated by natural disasters and other occurrences outside of Purrfect Fence’s reasonable control, such as fires, floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, lightning strikes;
  • -Escapes caused or aided by improper use, or otherwise caused by your acts or omissions, such as, but not limited to, failure to repair damaged product, failure to ensure the integrity of consumer’s associated fencing, or escapes through an open gate or the like.
  • -Escapes caused by alterations or modifications made to the product or where the product is used in an abnormal manner or not for its intended purpose;
  • -Damage caused by a third party product placed inside, on, or adjacent to the enclosure;
  • -Products used for commercial purposes;
  • -Any products sold as seconds, returns or similar, or where the defect had been drawn to the customer’s attention when it was purchased;
  • -Issues arising from improper maintenance of the product;
  • -ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGE.

How can I make a claim for service under the Escape-Free Guarantee?

To obtain service under this Escape-Free Guarantee, you must first email us via help@PurrfectFence.com and provide us with the information and documentation we request.  To process your warranty claim, we will collect information from you, including, but not necessarily limited to:

  • - Details of the escape;
  • -Proof of purchase;
  • -Photos and/or videos requested; and
  • -Clear photos of the product or ID label.

Purrfect Fence will make every effort to promptly review your claim and provide you with the promised assistance to prevent further escapes.

The Escape-Free Guarantee™ applies from the date you purchase your product and will not restart from the date of any replacement or repair. The replacement or repaired product will get the benefit of the remainder of the original warranty period.

Limitation of Liability

THE REMEDIES ABOVE ARE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES AND OUR ENTIRE LIABILITY FOR ANY BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. PURRFECT FENCE’S LIABILITY SHALL UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES EXCEED THE ACTUAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE PURRFECT FENCE PRODUCT, NOR SHALL WE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OR LOSSES, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, FOR LOSS OF AN ANIMAL, FOR DAMAGE TO ANY PROPERTY, OR FOR INJURIES, INCLUDING DEATH, SUSTAINED BY ANY PERSON OR ANIMAL.

SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
